Threads posts carry either a video or a single image, and the link format is the same either way — this page detects which one a given post contains and offers the matching format.
Only public posts can be downloaded here, the same rule as everywhere else on this site: if you'd need to log in or follow the account to see the post, a downloader can't reach it either.

- Some Threads posts contain a still image rather than a video — the page reflects whichever the post actually contains, it isn't converting one into the other.
